Anita Jane Froedge

GLASGOW — Anita Jane Froedge, 88, died Friday, Oct. 16, 2009, at NHC Healthcare Facility in Glasgow.

She was born in Barren County, the daughter of the late Ernest and Annie Pearl Adwell Scott. Her husband was the late Charles Oakley Froedge. Mrs. Froedge was a former employee of Newberry's in Glasgow and NHC Healthcare. She was a member of Glasgow Baptist Church and had worked with the nursery school program there.

Survivors include her son: Jerry Froedge of Glasgow; a sister-in-law: Anita Scott of Glasgow; nieces: Sharon McGinnis of Glasgow, Judy Greer of Lebanon, Tenn., and Patricia Edison of Goodlettsville, Tenn.; a nephew: Greg Scott of Glasgow; and several great-nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Ernest Scott Jr.; and two sisters, Nina Jump and Aline Bragg.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 18, 2009, at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation continues Sunday from 9 a.m. until time for the service.

Ricky Lynn Hagan

FRANKLIN, Ind. — Ricky Lynn Hagan, 50, formerly of Monroe County, died Thursday, Oct. 15, 2009, at his residence.

He was the son of the late James H. Hagan and Juanita Bow Hagan.

Graveside services and burial will be 1 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 18, at Old Mount Hermon Cemetery.

Strode Funeral Home, Tompkinsville, is in charge of arrangements.
