Richard Beck

BOWLING GREEN — Richard Beck, 64, died Friday, Oct. 23, 2009, at his residence.

He was the son of the late Kirby Thomas Beck and Ida McCown Beck.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, Oct. 27, at 11 a.m. at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel, with burial in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.



Raymond Eugene Mills

GLASGOW — Raymond Eugene Mills, 71, died Friday, Oct. 23, 2009, at T.J. Samson Community Hospital.

A son of the late William L. Mills and Ruby Rutledge Mills, he was a retired well driller and a United States Navy veteran.

Survivors include four sons: Chris Mills, Darryl Mills, Kevin Mills and Steve Mills; one daughter: Janice (Mike) Peden; his twin brother: Ronald Mills; one sister: Juanita Ferguson; one nephew: Marty (Lisa) Ferguson; two nieces: Pamela (Bill) Schmagel and Carolyn Haas; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Myeerah Mills; one son, Jimmy Mills; one nephew, Larry D. Ferguson; and one grandchild.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2009, at Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Friends may call after 2 p.m. today (Monday) at the funeral home.

Royster Rush

GLASGOW — Royster Rush, 69, formerly of Burkesville, died Saturday, Oct. 24, 2009, at T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Rush, of Glasgow.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2009, at 11 a.m. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home in Burkesville with burial in Summer Shade Cemetery. Visitation begins at 1 p.m. today (Monday) at the funeral home.



SERVICES

GLASGOW — James Louis Ellis or “Lou Ellis,” 82, died Friday, Oct. 23, 2009, at the Medical Center in Bowling Green. Graveside services will be at noon Tuesday at the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home continues until 8 p.m. today (Monday) and on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until time for services. There will be a Celebration of Life service at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Cumberland Presbyterian Church with a reception to follow.



GLASGOW — Joyce Huff Harrison, 69, died Friday, Oct. 23, 2009, at the Medco Center in Bowling Green. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Lick Branch Cumberland Presbyterian Church with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be after 5 p.m. today (Monday) and Tuesday from 9 a.m. until time for services at Lick Branch Cumberland Presbyterian Church. A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
