J.C. Branstetter
SUMMER SHADE — J.C. (Pete) Branstetter, 89, of Summer Shade, died Friday, Nov. 6 at the Metcalfe Health Care Center.
He was a retired farmer and a son of the late George Benton and Ida Crews Branstetter. He was a member of Summer Shade Baptist Church.
He is survived by a son, Danny Branstetter of Grayson, one step-daughter, Donnita Bartley of Summer Shade, two sisters, Emma Anderson of Edmonton and Ruby Burge of Elizabethtown; one half sister, Dorothy Milburn of Cottonwood, Ariz.; four step grandchildren, Doug, Donald and Danny Bartley of Summer Shade and Tema Noel of Nebraska.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wives, Edith Hood Branstetter and Dimple Harvey Branstetter.
Funeral Services will be Monday, Nov. 9 at 11 a.m. at McMurtrey Funeral Home with Bro. Joe Wilcoxson officiating. Burial will follow in Summer Shade Cemetery. Visitation will begin Sunday at noon at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Nina Davidson
BURKESVILLE — Nina Davidson, 78, died Thursday, Nov. 5, 2009, at Cumberland County Hospital.
Survivors include her husband, Rondell Davidson of Burkesville.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 8, at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, Burkesville, with burial in Gains Hill Cemetery.
Rocky King
CAVE CITY — Rocky Kenneth King, 53, Scottsville, died Thursday, November 5, 2009, at the Scottsville Hospital. The Indiana and Barren County native was the son of the late Herschel and Willie Stinson King.
The husband of Carolyn Dodson King, was a member of North Bowling Green Church of God and employed at the Bowling Green Tech College. In addition to his wife he is survived by two daughters, Amanda Burnette, Bowling Green, Tiffany King, Scottsville; a son, William King, Scottsville; a sister, Charlotte Vasquez, Bonnieville; two half sisters, Bernice Moon and Evelyn Cummings, both of Tennessee; three grandchildren, Brittany Burnette, Zackary Burnette, Shawn Burnette, all of Horse Cave and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services with Rev. Stephen Oliver officiating will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, November 7th, 2009 at the Bob Hunt Funeral Chapel, Cave City with burial in Glasgow Memorial Gardens. Visitation at the funeral home will be after 3 p.m. Saturday.

SUMMER SHADE — Sammy Shaw, 51, of Summer Shade, died Saturday, November 7, 2009 at the T.J. Samson Community Hospital.
Arrangements are incomplete to be announced later by the McMurtrey Funeral Home.
Mary Ann Watson
TOMPKINSVILLE — Mary Ann Watson, 54, died Thursday, Nov. 5, 2009, at Monroe County Medical Center in Tompkinsville.
She was the daughter of the late Haskel Vibbert and Percilla Martha Frances Norris Vibbert Watson. Survivors include her husband, M.D. Watson of Tompkinsville.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 8, at Red Hill Holiness Church in Monroe County with burial in Watson Cemetery.
