GLASGOW – Ada Goad, 92, died Saturday, Nov. 21, 2009, at the NHC Healthcare facility in Glasgow.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete, but are under the direction of A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home.
Carl E. “#1 Happy” Walbert Sr.
ELIZABETHTOWN — Carl E. “# 1 Happy” Walbert Sr., 72, passed away Thursday at St’s Mary & Elizabeth Hospital.
He was born in Barren County, to Lemmie and Edna (Smith) Walbert.
He was owner/operator of Derby City Livestock Trucking and was a Baptist by faith.
He was preceded in death by his father and one son: Ricky Allen Caple; and a brother: Roger Walbert; and a sister: Barbara Bragg.
Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Mae L. (McDonald) Walbert; three sons: Carl E. Walbert Jr., James Earl (Deborah) and Donald Wayne (Melissa) Walbert; four daughters: Donna Mae Caple, Debra Jo Coffelt (Mikey), Teresa Mae Jeter (Chris) and Melissa Dawn Teeters (Larry); 17 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; three brothers: Ronald (Sue), Russell (Patty) and Ricky Walbert; three sisters: Dorothy Burris, Rebecca Lashley and Patty Bertrum (Gary).
Funeral services will be private. Visitation will be Sunday 2 to 8 p.m. at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., Louisville. Online condolences can be left at owenfuneralhome.com.
