William T. Doyel

GLASGOW — William T. Doyel, 73, died Sunday, Nov. 29, 2009, at the Barren County Health Care Center.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete, but under the direction of Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home.



Loraine Murray Goad

GAMALIEL — Loraine Murray Goad, 86, died Saturday, Nov. 28, 2009, in Nashville, Tenn.

She was the daughter of the late Clurie Murray and Vella Proffitt Murray and wife of the late Frank Goad.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 1, at Yokley-Trible Funeral Home, Tompkinsville, with burial in Gamaliel Cemetery. Visitiation begins at 2 p.m. today (Monday) at the funeral home.



Clifton Lewis Huckelby

DUBRE — Clifton Lewis Huckelby, 61, died Friday, Nov. 27, 2009, at his home.

He was a son of the late Jesse and Floy Anderson Huckelby and husband of Betty Cleary Huckelby, who survives.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. today (Monday) at McMurtrey Funeral Home, Summer Shade, with burial in the Dutch Creek Cemetery.



Cecil ‘Buddy’ Morrison

LOUISVILLE – Cecil “Buddy” Morrison, 86, of Louisville and formerly of the Tracy community in Barren County, died Friday, Nov. 27, 2009, in Lexington.

He was the son of the late Hezzie and Celia (Carter) Morrison. He was a U.S. Army veteran.

Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Hughes Funeral Chapel in Fountain Run with burial in Union #1 Cemetery in Barren County. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday at Arch L. Heady & Son in Louisville and after 11 a.m. Tuesday at Hughes Funeral Chapel.



Mitchell Owens

MUNFORDVILLE — Mitchell Owens, 68, died Saturday, Nov. 28, 2009, at the Medical Center in Bowling Green.

He was the son of the late Charlie Owens and Sophie Martin Owens.

Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Tennyson Owens.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 1, in the chapel of Sego Funeral Home, Munfordville, with burial in Timberlake Cemetery. Visitation is in progress at the funeral home until 9 p.m. today (Monday) and after 8 a.m. Tuesday.



Danny Glen Paige

MUNFORDVILLE – Danny Glen Paige, 49, died Friday, Nov. 27, 2009, at T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow.

He was the son of the late Glenvil and Doris Ferguson Paige of Munfordville, who survives. He was an employee of ACK in Glasgow and member of the Rowletts Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday at Rowletts Baptist Church with burial in Ford Cemetery. Visitation is in progress at the church. Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton is in charge of the arrangements.

Besides his mother, he is survived by one brother, David (Lisa) Paige of Horse Cave; one sister, Kathy (Delbert) Embs of Winchester; a niece and nephew, Paige and Logan Embs, both of Winchester; one step-nephew, Joseph (Amber) Furlong and daughter, Kiley Jay of Hardyville.



Lora Parsley

BEECH GROVE, Ind. — Lora Parsley, 77, died Saturday, Nov. 28, 2009, in Beech Grove.

She was the daughter of the late John Crawford and Ester Price Crawford.

Survivors include her husband, Eagle Parsley Jr.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, Dec. 1, at 11 a.m. at Yokley-Trible Funeral Home, Tompkinsville, with burial in Jonestown Cemetery in Clay County, Tenn. Visitation begins at 3 p.m. today (Monday) at the funeral home.



Mae Burgoyne Payne

SMITHS GROVE – Mae Burgoyne Payne, 94, died Saturday, Nov. 28, 2009, at NHC Healthcare in Glasgow.

She was the daughter of the late Claude Burgoyne and Amanda Burgoyne and wife of the late Vernon V.J. (Ranger) Payne.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Smiths Grove Chapel, with burial in Merry Oaks Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.



Jackie A. Walker

GLASGOW — Jackie A. Walker, 71, died Sunday, Nov. 29, 2009, at T. J. Samson Community Hospital.

His arrangements are incomplete, but are under the direction of A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home.

HISEVILLE — Glenn Jones, 58, Hiseville, died Friday, Nov. 27, 2009, at T.J. Samson Community Hospital. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. today (Monday) at Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in Hiseville Cemetery. Alternate expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Ruth Ward Memorial Scholarship Fund at Glasgow Christian Academy, 600 Old Cavalry Drive, Glasgow, KY 42141.
