Arrangements are incomplete, but are under the direction of A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home.
Annie Lois Burks Simmons
LOUISVILLE — Annie Lois Burks Simmons, 107, formerly of Monroe County, died Sunday, Nov. 29, 2009, at Georgetown Manor in Louisville.
She was the daughter of the late Will Joe Burks and Ida Clarkson Burks and wife of the late James William Simmons.
Funeral services will be Thursday, Dec. 3, at 11 a.m. at Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville with burial in Turner Cemetery in Monroe County. Visitation will be after 1 p.m. today (Wednesday) at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Turner Cemetery.

GLASGOW — Virgie Pearl Compton, 100, passed away Sunday, Nov. 29, 2009, at the Barren County Health Care Center. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Sego Funeral Home, Munfordville, with burial in the Cave City Cemetery. Visitation continues today (Wednesday) until 9 p.m. and after 8 a.m. Thursday at the Sego Funeral Home until time for services.
PARK CITY — Patricia Ann Skaggs Hawkins, 61, died Monday, Nov. 30, 2009, in Glasgow. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Patton Funeral Home, Park City Chapel, with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. GLASGOW — Larry Hayden Reece, 70, died Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2009, at his home. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home. Burial, with military honors provided by DAV Chapter 20 of Glasgow, will be in Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
