Eddith Proffitt Brandon

GAMALIEL — Eddith Proffitt Brandon, 81, of Gamaliel, died Friday, Dec. 4, 2009 at Monroe County Medical Center in Tompkinsville.

She was the daughter of the late Amos and Zadie Arterburn Proffitt.

Funeral Services will be Monday at 1 p.m. at Strode Funeral Home’s Gamaliel chapel. Burial will be in Gamaliel Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer’s Association.



Mayme Dodson Crawford

TOMPKINSVILLE — Mayme Dodson Crawford, 76, of Tompkinsville, passed away Thursday, Dec. 3, 2009, at NHC Healthcare in Glasgow.

She was the daughter of the late Bedford and Willie Hazel Crawford Dodson and wife of the late Charles Randall Crawford.

Funeral services will be Sunday, Dec. 6, 2009 at 2 p.m. at Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville. Burial will be in Monroe County Memorial Lawn.



Betty Hammer

TOMPKINSVILLE — Betty D. Hammer, 72, of Tompkinsville, died Friday, Dec. 4, 2009 at Monroe Health Care in Tompkinsville.

She is survived by her brother, Kenneth Hammer of Indiana.

Funeral services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Yokley-Trible Funeral Home in Tompkinsville. Visitation is Sunday after 4 p.m. at the funeral home.



Betty Jane Barrow Peer

BOWLING GREEN — Betty Jane Barrow Peer, 84, of Bowling Green died Friday, Dec. 4, 2009 at The Medical Center at Bowling Green.

She was the daughter of the late J.Y. Dollar and Beulah Over Dollar. She was the wife of the late Jesse Leroy Barrow and the late Fay Peer.

Funeral Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Faith United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Louisville at 2 p.m.

Visitation is from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at Hardy & Son Funeral Home Bowling Green chapel.
