Sue Ann Blair
CENTER — Sue Ann Blair, 66, died Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2009, at Caverna Memorial Hospital in Horse Cave.
She was the daughter of the late Jim and Cleoline Smith Bailey. She was a homemaker and member of the Whickerville Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Whickerville Baptist Church with burial in Whickerville Cemetery. Visitation will be after 2 p.m. Friday at the church.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Blair, of Center; four sons: Gordon and wife Margaret Blair of Monroe, Richard Blair and friend Melinda Dodson of Glasgow, Dale Blair and wife Mary of Center, Matthew Blair of Lexington; two daughters: Vanessa Yates and friend Royce Morgan of Greensburg, Natasha Jewell of Edmonton; two brothers: Danny and Jerry Bailey, both of Center; one sister: Carrie Blair of Horse Cave; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Charles Ray Blair.

George Lewis Croft
RANDOLPH — George Lewis Croft, 89, passed away Wednesday evening, Dec. 9, 2009, at NHC Healthcare in Glasgow.
He was born Sept. 19, 1920, in Greenville, the son of the late Tom and Martha Jackson Croft. He moved to the Echo community early in life, doing farm work for his brother-in-law, Bennet "Doc" Rich. He married his wife, Maxine Duke, on March 28, 1942. After a brief time in Beech Grove, Ind., working for the railroad, he moved back to the Metcalfe County area settling in Randolph.
He is survived by his wife Maxine Duke Croft of Randolph; two daughters: Linda Sue McCoy (Charles) of Louisville and Brenda Kay Cook (Jessie) of Glasgow; two sisters: Florence Rich and Agnes Pitcock, both of Echo; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Coy Lee Croft, Ulas Croft and Evert Croft, and two sisters, Della Lear and Ruby Mae, all of Greenville.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 12, 2009, at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Marilee Settle Lowe
GLASGOW — Marilee Settle Lowe, 77, died Thursday, Dec. 10, 2009, at her residence.
Born in Glasgow, she is the daughter of the late Roy V. Settle and Mary Lucille Atkinson Settle. Mrs. Lowe was a member of the Glasgow Baptist Church where she attended the Fideles Sunday School class. She was a past member of Temple Hill Homemakers, a member of T.J. Samson Ladies Auxillary, the Samsonites and Senior Citizens of Glasgow.
Survivors include her husband, Veachel Lowe of Glasgow; a daughter, Mary Beth Kunkle (Dale) of Woodstock, Ga.; a sister, Nan Ella Settle of Louisville; a brother: John Roy Settle (Linda Gail) of Temple Hill; a grandson: Ryan Kunkle (Susan) of Woodstock, Ga.; two granddaughters: Mary LeNan Kunkle and Kristina Louise Kunkle, both Woodstock, Ga; a great-granddaughter: Anna Kunkle; several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Judy Atkinson Settle.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 13, 2009, at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 5 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
