GLASGOW —

John Walter Bradley

GLASGOW — John Walter Bradley, 75, of Glasgow, passed away Feb. 23, 2013.

John was preceded in death by his parents, Betty Emmett and Preston Bradley; brothers, Raymond Hagan and George Bradley; and sisters, Betty Glass, Sally Logsdon and Martha Pedigo.

John is survived by his brothers, William “Jake” Bradley, Junior Hagan, Laymand Hagan; and sisters, Velma “Luverne” Logsdon, Wilma Pedigo and Mary Hamilton.

Born in Clay County, Tenn., on July 1, 1937, John loved many things during his time here: his home, guitars, singing, fishing, operating a ham radio, bicycling and boxing, just to name a few.

The most dominate indicators of the kind of person John was, weren’t those things though. John loved people. His earthly family, prayer group, church family and children held especially large pieces of his heart. John is and will continue to be remembered by those whose lives he blessed “as the most thankful man I’ve ever known.” John loved his Lord and Savior Jesus and no doubt will be quoted for generations to come with his simple every day testimony, “most of all Father, I just thank You for saving my soul.”

Visitation for John will take place at Columbia Avenue Church of Christ, Feb. 26, 2013, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. with the funeral service directly following at 1 p.m. A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
