EDMONTON — Brenda Jo Dickison, 46, of Edmonton, died Monday, March 15, 2010, at her home.
She was the daughter of the late Robert Royce and Margaret Runell Wilson Pruitt. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, March 18, at Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton with burial in the Wilson Cemetery in Monroe County. Visitation will be from 3 until 8 p.m. Wednesday and after 9 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
She is survived by one son: Matthew “Bubby” Dickison and friend Sarah Lyon of Glasgow; three daughters,: Mindy (Ernie) Rice of Edmonton, Cindy (Chris) Lannan of Newport, Tenn., Becky Dickison and friend Josh Morgan of Greensburg; four brothers: Murrell Pruitt of Tompkinsville, Smiley Pruitt of Indiana, Tommy Collins of Auburn and Boston Pruitt of Indiana; three sisters: Wanda Peek of Edmonton, Lisa Pruitt of Edmonton, and Rachel Pruitt of Indiana; three grandchildren: Dakota Lannan, Lucas and Logan Rice.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, William Dickison.

JEFFERSONVILLE, Ind. — Marty Owen Smith, 48, of Jeffersonville, Ind., died Sunday, March 14, 2010, at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville after a lengthy illness.
He was the son of the late Garnett Smith and Dolly (Young) Garrett of Bee Spring, who survives.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton with burial in Garrett Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. Wednesday and after 9 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Opal Loraine Smith
TOMPKINSVILLE — Opal Loraine Smith, 85, of Tompkinsville, died Monday, March 15, 2010, at Monroe Health & Rehab Center, Tompkinsville.
She was the daughter of the late Dock Lollar and Sallie Coe Lollar and wife of the late Fowler Ray Smith.
Funeral services will be Thursday, March 18, at 11 a.m. at Strode Funeral Home, Tompkinsville, with burial in Monroe County Memorial Lawn. Visitation begins at 5 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Mount Gilead Church of Christ.

SUMMER SHADE — Alline Lawson White, 81, of Summer Shade (Nobob Community) died Tuesday, March 16, 2010, at her home.
She was a daughter of the late Luther and Ruie Walker Miller and a member of the Oak Grove Baptist Church.
She is survived by two daughters: Rita (Randy) Anderson of Nobob, and Anita Lawson of Summer Shade; sons: Freddie Lawson, Elzie (Big D) Lawson, Mike (Becky) Lawson and Gary (Mary) Lawson, all of Summer Shade, James Randall Lawson of Mount Hermon and Larry (Doris) Lawson of Glasgow; 14 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; one sister: Opal Lawson of Glasgow; two brothers: Estes (Linda) Miller of Glasgow, and Cleatus Miller of Austin.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Elzie Lawson; one son, Sandy Lawson; sister, Thelma Wilborn; and three brothers, Wallace, Bill and James Miller.
Funeral services will be Friday, March 19, at 1 p.m. at the White Cemetery Chapel with burial to follow in the White Cemetery. Visitation will begin Wednesday, March 17, at 3 p.m. at McMurtrey Funeral Home, Summer Shade.

GLASGOW — Shirley Ann Renfro Harper, 71, died Tuesday, March 16, 2010, at T.J. Samson Community Hospital. AUSTIN — Keith Albert Young, 83, of Austin, died Saturday, March 13, 2010, at his residence. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. EST Thursday at Shannon Funeral Home, in Shelbyville, with burial in Eminence Cemetery. Visitation is 4 until 9 p.m. EST today (Wednesday) at Shannon Funeral Home in Shelbyville.
