Dossey Mack Billingsley
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — Dossey Mack Billingsley, 74, formerly of Monroe County, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2010, at Wishard Hospital in Indianapolis.
He was born in Monroe County on July 6, 1935, to the late Fred Mason Billingsley and Pernie Evalina Bartley Billingsley. He was an Army veteran and a retired supervisor for Glass Container and Borden.
He is survived by his wife, Bethinea “Beth” Pearl Presslor Billingsley of Indianapolis; two sons: Dwayne and Dwight Billingsley, both of Indianapolis, Ind.; four brothers: George Billingsley of Tompkinsville, Loyse James, Fred Louis and Guy Eagle Billingsley, all of Indianapolis.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Evalina Ruth Billingsley; and two brothers, Kenneth Lee and Charles Wendell Billingsley.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, Jan. 16, at 11 a.m. at Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville. Military rites will be conducted at the graveside by DAV Chapter 20 of Glasgow. Burial will be in Mount Gilead Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. today (Friday).

Blond D. Duvall
GLASGOW — Blond D. Duvall, 82, died Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2010, at the Glasgow Health & Rehab Center.
Born April 21, 1927, in Barren County, she was the daughter of the late Acie and Ruby Pardue Steenbergen and wife of the late Earl Duvall. Mrs. Duvall was a member of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by two brothers: Dell Steenbergen (Noxie) and Larry Steenbergen (Sylvia), both of Glasgow; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her first husband, William (Slim) Lowery; a brother, Rodney Steenbergen; and two sisters, Margaret Gosnell and Juanita Jones.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 16, 2010, at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 5 p.m. Friday, Jan. 15, at the funeral home.

BOWLING GREEN — Annie Ruth Taylor died Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2010, at The Medical Center at Bowling Green.
She was the daughter of the late Clarence Brooks and Hallie Mae Baskbrile Brooks.
Funeral services were Friday, Jan. 15, at 11 a.m. at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel, with burial in Green River Union Cemetery.
