Margaret Louise Edmunds
GLASGOW – Margaret Louise Edmunds, 85, of Glasgow, died Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012, at NHC Health Care.
A native of Newark, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Henry Otis and Myrtie Frances Groce Glass. She was a retired sales clerk for Ely Drugs in Glasgow and a member of South Green Street Church of Christ.
Survivors include four children, Gary (Bettye) Edmunds, Wayne (Peggy) Edmunds, Donna (Steve) Ray and Mary Lou Norman (Wayde Manning), all of Glasgow; nine grandchildren, Stephanie Gossett, Sammy Edmunds, Sheryl England, Bruce Bell, Sara Wooden, Angela Lindsey, Alison Ross, Stephanie Roemer and Stacey Smith; one sister, Trudy Ban Bever, of Virginia; 12 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, along with her faithful friend, Tina.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Judson Edmunds; one grandson, Leonard Jonathan Edmunds; and two brothers, Larry Glass and Harold Glass.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Hatcher and Saddler Funeral Home with burial in Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation is in progress at the funeral home.
Ruth Ann Firkins
EDMONTON – Ruth Ann Firkins, 65, of Edmonton, died Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012, at her home.
She was the daughter of the late Otis and Kathryn England Firkins.
She is survived by three sons, Dale and Stephen Hagan, both of Edmonton, and Robert Hagan, of Scottsville; two daughters, Cindy (Chris) Lollar, of Edmonton, and Karen Capshaw, of Knob Lick; son-in-law, Charlie Capshaw, of Edmonton; four grandchildren, Jessica Ennis, Beverly Ennis, Brittany Ennis and Kayla Ennis, all of Edmonton; two sisters, Shirley Jean Coop, of Glasgow, and Frances Wilson, of Florida; a half-brother, Lawrence Firkins, of Ohio; and a half-sister, Reva Schular, of Indiana; two step-grandchildren, Chase Lollar, of Clarksville, and William Capshaw, of London.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by infant daughter, Debbie Lynn Hagan; nephew, Tim Wilson; and great-nephew, Jason Bunch.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton with burial in Antioch Cemetery in Sparksville. Visitation is in progress at the funeral home.
Bobby Jerry Glass
GLASGOW – Bobby Jerry Glass, 66, of Glasgow, died Sunday, Nov. 11, 2012, at his residence.
Born in Barren County, he was the son of the late Alonzo Thomas “Lonnie” and Renie Ester McCoy Glass. Mr. Glass was owner and operator of Glass Excavating and a veteran of the U.S. Army. Mr. Glass was baptized at Hickory College Church of Christ and attended First Baptist Church in South Lebanon, Ohio.
Survivors include his wife, Ella Miller Glass; one son, Arley Glass, of Glasgow; three daughters Catherine and Sydney Glass, both of Glasgow, and Rhonda Bowles, of Middleton, Ohio; Cassidy Corhan (Daddy To); two stepdaughters, Lori Anfinsen of Mainfield, Ohio, and Cindy Eden, of Boone-ville, Ind.; three sisters, Carolyn Lyons (Rick Williams “Moose”) of Glasgow, Regina Cleary (Boonie), of Glasgow, and Ruthine Glass, of Bowling Green; seven brothers, John W. Glass (Dorothy), of Summer Shade, Hollis Glass, Larry (Geraldine) Glass and twin brother, Perry Glass, all of Glasgow, Bernice (Paula) Glass, of Earlville, Ill., Lonnie Ray Glass (Sandy), of Edmonton, and Leland Glass (Ancy), of Hiseville; special friend, J. D. Walden; and several nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Marshall Glass.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2012, at A.F. Crow and Son Funeral Home, with burial in Glass Cemetery. Visitation will be after 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Elizabeth Ausbrooks Hodge
BOWLING GREEN – Elizabeth Ausbrooks Hodge, 70, of Bowling Green, died Sunday, Nov. 11, 2012, at her residence.
She was the daughter of the late William Jennings Ausbrooks and Mallie Parrish Ausbrooks.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Hardy and Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel, with burial in Fairview Cemetery #2.
Visitation is in progress at the funeral home.
Brenda Lee Johns
EDMONTON – Brenda Lee Johns, 53, of Edmonton, died Friday, Nov. 9, 2012, at her home.
She was the daughter of the late Homer and Martha Johns.
She is survived by husband, Juan Hernandez; four daughters, Rebekah Cordero, Amanda Jones, Jessica Pittman, Melissa Pittman, all of Edmonton; two sisters, Christen Phillips, of Tennessee, Linda Eldrige, of Elizabethtown; two brothers, Howard Slater, of Edmonton, Gene Slater, of Florida; nine grandchildren, Marvin Lutin, Aleah Cuevas, Isaiah Cuevas, Timothy Bowen Jr. Joshua Jones, Austin Jones, Maranda Bennett, Tyler Vibbert and David Chase Blankenship.
Graveside service was 1 p.m. Sunday at her residence on Miller Street in Edmonton. Butler Funeral Home in Edmonton was in charge of the arrangements.
HORSE CAVE – Lorene Lacy, 88, of Horse Cave, died Friday, Nov. 9, 2012, at her home.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Bessie Goff Harper, and her husband, Clyde Lacy.
Funeral services were 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 12, 2012, in the chapel of Winn Funeral Home with burial in Horse Cave Municipal Cemetery.
Dorothy G. Melvin
CANMER – Dorothy G. Melvin, 83, of Canmer, died Monday, Nov. 12, 2012, at Glenview Nursing Home in Glasgow.
She was the daughter of the late Maze Sullivan and the late Henrietta Burns Sullivan. She was the wife of the late C. A. Melvin.
The family will receive friends from 4 until 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at Brooks Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Reverend Billy Joe Foster officiating. Interment will be at Pearl Webb Cemetery in Canmer.
HARDYVILLE – Teresa Melvin, 41, of Hardyville, died Friday, Nov. 9, 2012, at her residence in Hardyville.
The Hart County native was born May 22, 1971. She is survived by her parents, Kenneth and Geraldine Melvin, of Canmer.
Arrangements are being handled by Brooks Funeral Home, Munfordville, where the family received friends Monday. Visitation will continue at Hopewell Cumberland Presbyterian Church from 9 a.m. to time of service, Tuesday. Funeral service will be at the church at 11 a.m. Tuesday with Brother Barry Locke officiating. Interment will be at Pearl Webb Cemetery, Canmer.
HARRODSBURG – Greg Naumann, 38, Harrodsburg, son of Linda Thomas Naumann, of Harrodsburg and Frank (Judy) Naumann, of Danville, died Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012, at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, after a long illness.
He was born Jan. 22, 1974, in Glasgow.
Visitation will be Tuesday, Nov. 13, from 6 until 8 p.m. at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg. A service will be conducted at a later date.

Stella Mae Foster Perry
HORSE CAVE – Stella Mae Foster Perry, 80, of Horse Cave, died Friday Nov. 9, 2012, at her home.
She was born in Henderson, Ky.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Cleve and Ora Watson Foster.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Lighthouse Church under direction of Winn Funeral Home, Horse Cave. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will continue after 9 a.m. Tuesday at Lighthouse Church.
Elizabeth ‘Bette’ Scott
MUNFORDVILLE – Elizabeth “Bette” Scott, 64, of Munfordville, died Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012, at her home in Munfordville.
She was a native of Paris, Ky.
Mrs. Scott is survived by her husband, Steve Scott; and her mother, Betsy Goodman, of Paris.
She was preceded in death by her father, Joe Goodman.
Memorial services for Elizabeth “Bette” Scott will be 4 p.m. Wednesday at Munfordville Presbyterian Church with Reverend Suzanne Barrow officiating.
