Roger Lee Hester
CAVE CITY — Roger Lee Hester, 60, of Cave City, died Friday, Sept. 14, 2012, at T. J. Samson Community Hospital. He was the son of the late Henry Hester and Helen Craine Hester Blair.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy Dile Hester; three daughters, Tanya Webb, Lisa Lumpkins and her husband Gene, and Denise Leraaen and her husband Chris; nine grandchildren, Zack Webb, Blake Lumpkins, Madison Lumpkins, Mia Lumpkins, Noah Lumpkins, Aubrey Lumpkins, Christy Hester, Cordale Hester and Korey Leraaen; one brother, Wayne Hester and his wife Merrill; brother-in-law and special care giver, Freddie Dile and his wife Kathy; three sister-in-laws, Janice Garland and her husband Newton, Wanda Sexton and her husband Darrell, and Diane Mesker and her husband Wayne; several nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in Cave City Cemetery. Visitation will be after 9 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Phillip Jolly
GLASGOW — Phillip Lewis Jolly, 52, of Glasgow, died at his residence.
A native of Barren County, he was a son of the late Freddie Jolly and Dorothy Jean Parker Jolly Steele. He was a factory worker, a member of Trinity Church of the Nazarene and an avid Elvis fan.
Survivors include four brothers, Freddie N. Jolly (Sandy), William Jolly (Sheila) and Danny Jolly (Carol), all of Glasgow, and Rick Jolly (Lana), of Russellville; three sisters, Linda Sue Jolly Lyle (Jerry) and Donna Jolly Wilkinson, all of Glasgow, and Carolyn Jolly Vincent (Dwight), of Oakland; his step-father, Ray Steele, of West Virginia; one aunt, Hazel Robinson (Walter), of Glasgow; one uncle, Robert Jolly (Ruth), of Glasgow; several nieces and nephews, whom he loved dearly.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one nephew, Michael Dwight Vincent, of Oakland.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with burial in Parker Cemetery. Friends may call after 3 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Wini King
GLASGOW — Wini Elmore King, 70, of Glasgow, died Saturday, Sept. 15, 2012, at NHC Healthcare Facility in Glasgow.
She was born in Barren County, the daughter of the late Curtis Elmore and Mary Shaw Elmore. Mrs. King was married to the late Lewis King and was a homemaker.
Survivors include her mother, Mary Shaw Elmore of Glasgow; one brother, Rodger Elmore, of Glasgow; three sisters, Willia Elmore McGinley and Judy K. Elmore, both of Athens, Ga., and Margaret Branstetter, of Charleston, S.C.; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2012, at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 4 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
