Michael Lee Busey

LEXINGTON – Michael Lee Busey, 42, formerly of Glasgow, died Wednesday, February 3, 2010, in Lexington.

He is survived by one daughter: Amber Busey; one grandson: Hunter Russell; his mother: Brenda Sue Houk and her husband, Steve: two brothers: Charles Busey and his wife, Gracie, and Freddy Busey; two sisters: Geneva Colston and Shirley Huff.

Funeral will be 3 p.m. Sunday at the Hatcher & Saddler Funeral Home with cremation to follow. Visitation will be after 10 a.m. Sunday at the funeral home.



Addus ‘Buck’ Copass

TOMPKINSVILLE – Addus “Buck” Copass, 96, died Friday, Feb. 5, 2010, at NHC HealthCare in Glasgow.

He was the son of the late James Harris and Ona Adams Copass and husband of the late Cloteen Adams Copass.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Strode Funeral Home in Tompkinsville with burial in Ebenezer Cemetery. Visitation is in progress at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Ebenezer Cemetery.



Edna McCellan Harlow

BOWLING GREEN – Edna McCellan Harlow, 85, died Thursday, Feb. 4, 2010, at the Hospice Center in Bowling Green.

She was the daughter of the late Robert Grover Green and Anna Lacroix Green.

She was the wife of the late James B. McCellan and Thomas Harlow.

A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Monday at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel, with burial in Fairview Cemetery #2. No visitation is scheduled.



Ruth Traylor Bartley Patterson

GLASGOW – Ruth Traylor Bartley Patterson, 85, died Saturday, Feb. 06, 2010, at her home.

She was born in Glasgow, the daughter of the late Carter Gates and Gladwyn Froedge Traylor. Ruth was a secretary and formerly employed with Mitchell Enterprises. She was also a former employee of Dr. Robert Chase and Longhunters Realty Co. Mrs. Patterson was a member of the First United Methodist Church, a member and past president of Glasgow B&PW; Club, a member of the Glasgow Garden Club, and was an avid watercolor painter. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, George W. Bartley and Ralph Stone Patterson.

She is survived by two daughters, Linda Branstetter (Steve) of Summer Shade, and Kaye Cardwell (Kenny) of Bowling Green; two stepdaughters, Ann Patterson of Lexington and Sue Humphrey (David) of Lexington; two sisters, Chris Cloyd and Maude Isenberg (Doug), both of Glasgow; six grandchildren: Amber Branstetter Huffman (Chris) of Center, Bart Branstetter of Summer Shade, Matthew Cardwell of Bowling Green, Nancy Humphrey Grayson (Trey) of Walton, Dr. Wendy Humphrey (Chris VanMeter) of Lexington and Jonathan Humphrey of Lexington; four great-grandchildren: Colton and Cade Huffman and Alexandra and Katheryn Grayson; a nephew, Barry Isenberg and a niece, Ellen Isenberg Bunch (Jeff).

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 8, 2010, at the First United Methodist Church with burial in Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home on Sunday from noon until 8 p.m. and Monday morning until 11 a.m., then at the First United Methodist Church from noon until time for the service.

Alternate expressions of sympathy may take the form of memorial contributions to the First United Methodist Church Memorial Fund, 500 S. Green St., Glasgow, KY 42141.
