GLASGOW —
Karl Heinz Lemasters
GLASGOW – Karl Heinz Lemasters, 56, died Monday,
Jan. 28, 2013, in Glasgow, after a sudden illness.
Mr. Lemasters was born in Kaiserslautern,
Germany. He had recently
moved to Park City from Evergreen,
Colo., to be the sales manager for
Gillie-Hyde auto sales in
Glasgow where he had
been employed for the past
five months. Karl was a
veteran serving with the
82nd Airborne, U.S. Army.
He had been attending
New Beginnings Baptist
Church.
He is survived by his
wife, Sheri; his parents,
Leathel and Adelheid
Bowles, of Park City; three
children, Tara Lemasters,
of Los Angeles, Calif.,
Chris and Erin Lemasters,
of Colorado; a brother, Wayne Bowles, of Illinois;
five sisters, Linda Phillips, Debbie Graves, Pam
Hawkins, Sandy Mundy and Donna Pop, all of Indiana
and several nieces and nephews.
The family has chosen cremation and there will be
no services. A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home is in
charge of arrangements.
Brittany Alexandra Maddox
LOUISVILLE – Brittany Alexandra Maddox, 21, of
Louisville, died Monday, Jan. 28, 2013, in Louisville.
Born in Louisville, she is
the daughter of Warren
Dean Maddox and Jennifer
Sturdivant Collins (fiancé
John Spellman), both of
Louisville. Other survivors
include three sisters, Amber
Wells (fiancé Jaimy
Waddell), Christine Maddox
and Danielle Maddox,
all of Louisville; a special
friend, Ron Spadie, of
Louisville; paternal grandmother,
Pauline Pedro, of
Louisville; several stepsiblings,
aunts, uncles and
cousins also survive.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents,
Loretta Pitcock (Elzie) and Jewell Sturdivant
and paternal grandfather, Junior Pedro.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. CST Friday, Feb. 1,
2013, at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial
in Henderson Cemetery. Visitation will be after 2 p.m.

Helen Delois Abston Morgan
WHITELAND, Ind. – Helen Delois Abston Morgan,
formerly of Barren County, died Tuesday, Jan. 29,
2013, in Whiteland, Ind.
She was a daughter of the late Charlie and Ethel
Abston.
Survivors include one son, Randy Thomas Morgan
(Joanie), of Whiteland; five grandchildren, Riley
Thomas Morgan, Emily Morgan, Jamie Morgan, Chris
Morgan, and Ben Morgan, all of Indiana; three brothers,
Olin Abston (Jean), Alton Abston (Alta) and Marvin
Abston (Verna), all of Glasgow; two sisters, Hazel
Abston Morgan, of Glasgow and Velma Francis Abston
Rich (Charles), of Whiteland; several nieces and
nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in
death by one son, Gary Wayne Morgan, and one sister,
Zola Mae Woods.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. EST Saturday, Feb.
2, 2013, at Jessen Funeral Home in Whiteland with
burial in Whiteland Cemetery. Visitation will be from
4 to 8 p.m. EST Friday at the funeral home and Saturday
morning until funeral time.
Carl Edwin Ryherd
GAMALIEL – Carl Edwin Ryherd, 92, of Gamaliel,
died Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2013, at his home.
He was born May 5, 1920, in Monroe
County, to the late Edd Lewis Ryherd
and Iva Proffit Ryherd. He was a
farmer, a member of Indian Creek Baptist
Church and a World War II Army
veteran. He was united in marriage on Aug. 10, 1946,
to Lera England Ryherd.
He is survived by his wife, Lera England Ryherd, of
Gamaliel; three sons and four daughters-in-law,
Charles and Joyce Ryherd, Wade and Joy Ryherd,
Barry and Bonnie Ryherd and Barbara Ryherd, all of
Gamaliel; one daughter and son-in-law, Judith and
Tommy Bartley of Gamaliel, three brothers, Audie
Ryherd, of Sullivan, Ill., James Earl Ryherd, of
Gamaliel, Dwaine Ryherd, of Vandalia, Ohio; four
sisters, Essie Harlin and Faye Oye, both of Arthur,
Ill., Eva Whitis, of Indianapolis, Ind., Wilma O’Banion,
of Gamaliel; seven grandchildren, five stepgrandchildren,
eight great-grandchildren, and eight
step-great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death
by one son, Carlie Ryherd; two brothers, Paul Ryherd
and Clyde Ryherd and one sister, Dean Davis.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, Feb. 2
at 11 a.m. at Indian Creek Baptist Church with burial
to follow in Monroe County Memorial Lawn. Military
rites will be performed at graveside by DAV Chapter
20, of Glasgow.
Visitation will be after 11 a.m. on Friday at Strode’s
Gamaliel Chapel and after 9 a.m. on Saturday at Indian
Creek Baptist Church. Memorials are suggested to
the Indian Creek Building Fund.
SERVICES
LAFAYETTE, Tenn. – J.P. Creek, 66, of Fountain
Run, died Monday, Jan. 28, 2013, at Macon County
General Hospital in Lafayette, Tenn. Funeral services
will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Strode’s Gamaliel
Chapel. Burial will be in White Oak Ridge Cemetery.
EDMONTON – Robert Wendell Fields, 74, of Edmonton,
died Monday, Jan. 28, 2013, at his home. Funeral
services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Butler Funeral
Home in Edmonton with burial in New Liberty
Cemetery. Visitation will be after 9 a.m. Thursday at
the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions
can be made to New Liberty Cemetery.
MUNFORDVILLE – Carl L. Jaggers, 88, of Munfordville,
died Monday Jan. 28, 2013, at Jewish Hospital
in Louisville. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m.
Thursday in the chapel of Winn Funeral Home with
burial to follow in Horse Cave Municipal Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the funeral home after 9 a.m. until
funeral time on Thursday.
BOWLING GREEN – Ms. Carolyn Renfro, 84, of
Bowling Green, died at the Hospice House of Southern
Kentucky, Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013. Funeral service
was conducted Wednesday at Cone Funeral Home
Chapel in Bowling Green. Interment followed at Still
Cemetery, in Bowling Green. A worship service in
memory of Carolyn Renfro will be Friday, Feb. 1,
2013, at 11 a.m. at Siloam Baptist Church, Siloam
Road, Glasgow.
