DATE: July 28, 2009
ACTION: Magistrates took the following action: approved minutes of July 14 meeting; approved sheriff’s 2008 property and oil tax franchise settlement; a budget transfer; and claims.
DISCUSSION: Members of the local VFW Post spoke to magistrates about the Honor Flight program. Family members who have relatives buried in a cemetery at the end of Trinity Lane in Summer Shade discussed the erection of a gate at the cemetery. Magistrates requested property owner, Laura Ferguson, have gave installed by the next fiscal court meeting.
