On Thursday, June 28, members of the Caverna Board of Education met in closed session to discuss and review the annual evaluation of Superintendent Dr. Sam Dick.
“The law requires now … they’ve changed the law … at one point everything had to be done in open session, but the way it’s worded now the board must start in closed session and work toward the open,” Dick said.
A district leadership assessment conducted by the state stated Dick had not established a professional culture.
