GLASGOW —
Glasgow High School Boys Soccer Coach Shaun Goulborne guided his team to a big 6-1 victory over Clinton County Thursday night.
“We were missing Andrew Thomerson and Brandon Chapman, two of our usual starters,” said Goulbourne.
“We had to make some adjustments putting Jonas Bastien up front and Ashab Ahmed in the middle and that worked well for us.
“Bastien scored three goals and Zach Branstetter had his second goal of the season. Seth Bennett also scored for us. Giovanni Basile had several chances but could not find the net.”
Goulbourne went on to say, “Our back four were pretty solid today with Trent Bosse, Seth Taylor, Joshua Garmon and Greg Campbell.
“It was a needed result today to get us back to .500, put us in a good district position, and give us some confidence into our game with Barren next Thursday night.”
