GLASGOW — Glasgow’s Kelsey Greer and Monroe County’s Caylan Bybee and Madison Clements were all named to the Region 4 All-tournament team Saturday.
Greer earned her selection by compiling 22 points — half of the team’s total offensive output — in the Lady Scotties’ first round 50-44 loss to Greenwood on March 2. The freshman scored nine in the fourth quarter alone.
“(Greer) did what she does best there at the end,” Glasgow head coach Chris Crain said after the game. “It was a great surge by Kelsey at the end of the game, but we just came up one possession short.”
Clements racked up a game-high 17 in the Lady Falcons opening round matchup with Bowling Green, but was unable to help her team avoid a 59-43 defeat to the eventual-tournament-champion Lady Purples. Bybee added seven points after leading Monroe in scoring for the season.
Greer and Bybee were also named to the All District 15 tournament team, while all three earned slots on the District 15 all season squad. Bybee served as season co-MVP alongside Barren County’s Kelsey Mitchell.
