SPORTS BRIEFS: BCMS first football practice
GLASGOW — BCMS first football practice
Barren County Middle School will have its first practice/meeting on Thursday at 6 p.m. behind the school for seventh and eighth graders.
Boys interested in playing football this year must attend. They should come dressed for practice.
BCHS girls’ soccer tryouts
The Barren County High School girls soccer team will hold tryout sessions July 16-17 at the soccer complex.
All girls enrolled in the Barren County school system in grades 7-12 are eligible to attend.
All participants must bring a copy of a current physical form as well as a parent permission form.
Forms can be picked up at the front office of the high school.
Girls should also bring their own cleats and shin guards.
