GLASGOW —
Caverna came up short in their game against Hart County 14-0 Friday night.
The Colonels executed well, but the defense never could get off the field on third down, giving way on numerous Raiders scoring drives.
Head coach Rodney Middleton said injuries were a big reason for the shutout.
“We just need to put together an offense,” he said. “We’re down to 14 players now. We lost AJ Shackelford and Dalton Johnson.”
Middleton said the goal during next week’s practices will be to focus on getting into an offensive rhythm.
“We just have to put together an offense,” Middleton said.
