GLASGOW —
The Glasgow High School Lady Scotties put three players in double figures this past weekend to beat Bullitt Central 72-40 to finish third in the Bullitt Central High School Christmas Classic in Shepherdsville.
“We played really well tonight,” said Glasgow coach Justin Stinson. “We did a great job of getting out in transition and finding the open man. This team is very unselfish.”
Kelsey Greer highlighted the rout with 22 points for the Lady Scotties. Breanna Glover had 17 points and Shalika Smith chipped in with 12. Emily Alexander scored nine points and Elli Bartley had six points off the bench. Heidi Holgate scored four and Reagan Bowles added two.
“We were so efficient offensively,” said Stinson. “We played inside-outside and really played within ourselves. I was impressed with how we remained focused even with a big halftime lead.”
Glasgow will visit Barren County on Friday, Dec. 28, at 6 p.m.
