GLASGOW —
It was another rough night for the Barren County Trojans on Friday night, as they were defeated at home by the Logan County Cougars, 21-20.
However, the team showed exactly what they are made of, as they scored 20 unanswered points.
The play of the game came with 2:20 remaining in the game when quarterback Josh Durham found wide receiver Chad Eaton down the left sideline for the 71-yard touchdown, but penalties and turnovers would be the deciding factor in the game that officially ended any playoff hopes for the Trojans.
“We really fought back,” head coach Jason Esters said. “We really left it out on the field and I just really feel bad for those kids. We told Chad [Eaton] to get out of bounds but he said he was going for the touchdown.”
