GLASGOW —
The Metcalfe County Lady Hornets have been looking to put together a complete team effort this basketball season and, on Tuesday night, the Lady Hornets did just that. Metcalfe County picked up a big 42-36 victory over Franklin-Simpson.
“We played well tonight,” said Metcalfe County basketball coach Pete DiStefano. “We were able to play at a good pace for us, and we did a nice job of rebounding and limiting their second chances.”
The Lady Hornets took the early lead and never looked back as they captured the big win.
