GLASGOW —
The Glasgow Scotties suffered a disappointing 46-44 loss to the Patriots of Allen-County on Friday night after being up 29-13 at halftime.
“Our point guard Ryne Tinsley went down with an ankle injury in the third quarter, and that definitely hurt us, no question about it,” Coach John Tinsley said of one of his two sons on the team. Up to that point, Ryne had controlled the game well from a point guard standpoint, he continued, and also had four or five assists.
He gave the Patriots credit: “They came back and made some tough shots and that's just the way it ended up tonight.”
The scores from the first half and second were almost flip-flopped with Glasgow scoring 15 and 14 in the first two quarters respectively, while AC-S had 5 and 8. Then AC-S brought it back in their favor with 15 and 18 in the latter two quarters respectively, compared with Glasgow's 8 and 7.
