GLASGOW —
Metcalfe County pulled out a strong win against Hart County on Friday night, defeating the home team 33-18.
“We played as hard as we have the last three games,” said head coach Freddie Harbison. “There are some breakdowns we still have to work on but we played hard.”
The Hornets (1-2) carried the ball 45 times for a total of 345 yards on the ground against the Raiders (1-2), Harbison said. No other stats were available by press time.
In another area game, Warren East defeated Monroe County, 26-18. Caverna’s game with Heath was in a lightning delay and a final score was unavailable by press time.
