BOWLING GREEN — The Bowling Green Hot Rods’ spring training games will begin on March 17 in Florida. The 15-game stint includes matchups against three different opponents — Delmarva Shoebirds (Baltimore Orioles), Beloit Snappers (Minnesota Twins) and Greenville Drive (Boston Red Sox). The schedule is as follows:
Hot Rods vs. Shoebirds: March 17-18, 22-23, 26-27, March 31-April 1
Hot Rods vs. Beloit Snappers: March 19, 24, 29
Hot Rods vs. Greenville Drive: March 20, 25, 30, April 2. The team will also have a Fan Fest on Saturday from noon to 5 p.m.
Trojans plan scrimmage
Barren County High School Football will host the 2010 Burgundy/Gold Scrimmage on Thursday.
The scrimmage will start at 6 p.m. at the BCHS football field.
Admission is free and concessions will be sold.
