GLASGOW — Softball league plays Mondays and Thursdays in Edmonton

Summer league men’s softball will be played Monday and Thursday nights at Bowling Park in Edmonton. Entry fee is $150.

Stockton hosts hoops camp July 14-16

Brandon Stockton, who was the state’s Mr. Basketball while prepping at Glasgow High School and went on to play at the University of Kentucky, will host a Shooting Stars Basketball Camp July 14-16 at Glasgow High School.

The camp runs from noon-4 p.m. each day and is limited to the first 75 campers. The cost to attend is $50 per camper. The camp is open to boys and girls age 7-18.

Each camper will receive a camp t-shirt and an evaulation card. The camp also includes daily contests and prizes, guest speakers and personalized skill assessments.

Co-ed softball tourney set for July 11-13

The Glasgow Recreation Department is hosting an open co-ed double elimination softball tournament July 11-13 at the Beaver Trail Softball Complex.

The cost per team is $175 and the deadline to enter is July 7. A team trophy and t-shirts will be given to the tournament winner and runner-up.
