Trojanettes defeat Monroe, South Warren
Barren County girls golf opened the week with two blowout wins.
The Trojanettes defeated Monroe County at Hidden Hills Country Club by 39 strokes on Monday. Logan Steenbergen fired a 41 to earn medalist honors, while Taylor Moore (42), Amber Jewell (48) and Emmory Shipley (50) rounded out the scores.
Jewell shot a 43 to be named medalist in a 49-stroke win over South Warren at Covington Woods on Tuesday. Moore and Elliot Shipley followed with respective 45s and Steenbergen capped the scoring with a 48.
