GLASGOW —
Despite his team not scoring for the second-consecutive week, Glasgow head football coach Rick Wood was not unhappy following Friday night’s homecoming game.
“I feel better tonight than I did a week ago (Friday),” Wood said. “We got better this week and we’ve got to get better next week.”
The Scotties lost 20-0 Friday night to Somerset, the No. 2-ranked Class 2A football team in the state. Wood said he is not “into moral victories,” but he thought his team competed well against a Briar Jumper team that returned several key starters from last season.
