GLASGOW —
Losing hurts, no matter which way you slice it.
Glasgow Scotties players and coaches realize this, but veteran head coach Rick Wood said having some early losses prior to the start of district play can even be chalked up as positives, as they prepare for Friday’s road contest against the Clinton County Bulldogs.
Wood said even though the Scotties came up on the wrong end of the 20-0 shutout against the Somerset Briar Jumpers, the team is taking positives from the result.
“We felt like we made some progress last week in terms of our physical play,” Wood said. “We’re really trying to become more and more physical on each line.”
The Clinton County Bulldogs will come into Friday’s contest with a 0-6 record.
Clinton County has lost to Wayne County, Trimble County, Casey County, Adair County, Caverna and Metcalfe County.
