GLASGOW —
Warren Cunningham just shook his head and smiled as he came out of the locker room Thursday night after his Barren County Trojans narrowly beat Logan County 72-69 in the first round of the TJ Samson Community Hospital Holiday Basketball Classic at Glasgow High School. Cunningham was pleased with the victory, but it was a little bit closer than he would have liked for it to have been.
Thanks to a 3-point play by Dalton Bush with 7.2 seconds to go in the game, the Trojans held off a frantic Logan County rally to advance to the semifinals Friday against John Hardin High School at 7 p.m.
