GLASGOW —
The Monroe County High School boys’ and girls’ basketball teams opened play Thursday night in holiday tournaments around the state.
The Monroe County High School Lady Falcons put four players in double figures Thursday afternoon as they rolled to a 71-49 victory over Ohio County in the first round of the Owensboro Holiday Basketball Classic at Daviess County High School.
Turnovers proved to be costly for the Monroe County Falcons Thursday night as they dropped a 58-42 decision to Bardstown Bethlehem in the first round of the Campbellsville Holiday Classic at Campbellsville High School.
