SPORTS BRIEF: Meet the Scotties is tonight at GHS
GLASGOW — Glasgow High School will host Blue and White night tonight.
The event will be an opportunity for fans of Glasgow winter sports to meet the teams, watch scrimmages, and buy food and memorabilia.
The chili supper will start at 5 p.m. and costs $5. There are a limited number tickets at the door. Tickets can be purchased prior to the event at the high school or Greer’s Florist.
The events in the gym will include the Scottie Band playing throughout the night. They will start at 6:15. That will be followed by boys’ and girls’ junior varsity and freshmen basketball scrimmages.
At 7 p.m., the seventh and eighth grade girls’ and boys’ teams will be introduced, followed by the swim team.
Starting at 7:15, there will be a dunk show, 3-point shootout and 2-ball competition featuring GHS players.
Those will be followed by varsity boys and girls scrimmages.
Donations and proceeds go to the athletic teams.
