GLASGOW —
Caverna faced a tough opponent in 8-1 Kentucky Country Day, and a big run and a bigger size difference did the 1-8 Colonels in onâFriday with a 48-6 loss.
“We came out in the first quarter and played really well,” said head coach Rodney Middleton. “But we gave up a big run after that and it kind of snowballed from there.”
The Colonels had a hard time stopping the Bearcats, mostly because Caverna didn’t have the size they needed to compete, Middleton said.
