GLASGOW —
The Glasgow High School Lady Scotties opened their tennis season Thursday with a 2-2 tie at Greenwood High School in Bowling Green.
The inclement weather played a big factor in the match, said coach Lora Garrett, as the Glasgow girls split two of the singles matches and two of the doubles matches. One singles match was suspended.
Glasgow’s MacLean Lessenbery battled valiantly at the No. 1 singles position before losing an 8-0 decision to regional power Cassie Pennington.
