GLASGOW —
The Metcalfe County Lady Hornets allowed two Allen County Scottsville runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to drop a 3-2 decision to the Lady Patriots in high school softball action Tuesday night.
The Lady Hornets got on top early with two runs in the top of the first inning to take a 2-0 lead.
But Allen County came back with a solo homerun in the fourth inning. And then in the sixth, with two outs, Metcalfe County gave up a walk and two errors that resulted in two Lady Patriot runs.
