GLASGOW —
The Monroe County Lady Falcons and the Allen County-Scottsville Lady Patriots advanced to Tuesday's championship match of the District 15 Volleyball Tournament by winning semifinal matches Monday night at Barren County High School.
The Lady Falcons, the No. 1 seed in the tournament, knocked off Glasgow in straight games, winning 25-11, 25-5 and 25-8. Allen County took four games to beat host Barren County. The Lady Patriots won 25-15, 25-21, 17-25 and 25-22.
“We won, but there is a lot of cleaning up that we need to do,” said Monroe County coach Tara Turner. “We made just little silly errors, and I don't know if its because we're coming off of fall break or not. I am glad to get the first win behind us and get on to the next match.”
