GLASGOW —
The Caverna Lady Colonels picked up a key 18th District win Friday night and also defeated their rival school, Hart County, with a 63-21 victory.
“Our defense was great. Our defensive intensity was a whole lot better. We moved our feet and played defense,” said Lady Colonels head coach Cornelius Faulkner.
Reagan Kingrey led Caverna with 22 points and she grabbed eight rebounds, while Ciara Waggoner added 15 points and Madison Faulkner posted 15 points and 12 rebounds.
For Faulkner, she scored her 1,000th career point with her first basket of the night.
Andrea Davis added four points, while Giuliana Petrucci posted 3 and Kiara Kirk finished with two points and eight rebounds.
