GLASGOW —
There will be some very good basketball played this Saturday at Barren County High School.
John Butler, the head girls’ basketball coach at BCHS, has put together one of the best fields ever for this year’s Monticello Bank/Barren County Basketball Shootout.
The competition, which pits some of the best girls’ high school basketball teams against each other in a one-day event, will be Saturday, Dec. 15, at Barren County High School.
Barren County will play McCreary Central at 11 a.m. with Rockcastle County and Green County playing at 1 p.m. Southwestern Pulaski will battle Owensboro Catholic at 3 p.m., and Glasgow will play Adair County in the finale at 5 p.m.
