Three injured in crash

Three people were injured in a single-vehicle rollover wreck around 12:30 Wednesday morning on Coral Hill Road, according to the Barren County Sheriff’s Department. Amber Wilson, 19, and her passengers, Briana Wilson, 15, and an infant, all from Metcalfe County, were traveling north on Coral Hill Road when a tire blew on the 2001 Pontiac Grand Am, causing Wilson to lose control, overturn and travel off the roadway before coming to a rest in a ditch on its roof. All three were taken from the scene by Barren-Metcalfe EMS to T.J. Samson Community Hospital and were later released. Both Amber and Briana Wilson were wearing seat belts and the infant was in a child seat at the time of the crash.
