Up in Flames

On Thursday around 7:15 p.m., the Barren County Sheriff’s Office responded to a truck on fire approximately 8 miles south of Glasgow on Winn School Road. Upon arrival, Det. Rusty Anderson learned that 29-year-old Jason Stevens was traveling north on Winn School Road, when the 2000 Chevy S10 truck he was driving began to catch fire. Stevens was able to stop and escape before the truck was engulfed in flames. The truck was extinguished by the Haywood Volunteer Fire Department.

Anderson investigated the fire.
