Sold at Auction

Auctioneer Jerry Botts, background, leads the bidding on the former Steve Nunn residence, while his son, Spencer Botts, foreground, keeps track of the bids. A large crowd of buyers and spectators showed up for the auction of real estate and personal property at 136 Fairway Place in Country Club Estates on Saturday morning. Nunn, a former Kentucky state representative and son of the late Gov. Louie B. Nunn, transferred the property to London attorney Warren Scoville in October to pay legal fees. Nunn is facing several charges including murder in the shooting death of his former fiancee, Amanda Ross, and remains lodged in the Fayette County County Detention Center. The property was appraised at $200,000. The residence brought $170,000 at auction and was sold to Nathan Wyatt.
