Full of beans

Mary Beth Jessie, president-elect of the Glasgow Business & Professional Women’s Club, ladles bean soup into a bowl Friday morning in the kitchen at Columbia Avenue Christ of Christ during the club’s annual fundraising event. Money collected from ticket sales for the lunch helps fund a scholarship for a nontraditional student, as well as other club projects.
