GLASGOW — One person was injured in a two-vehicle collision in Barren County on Saturday night. Jonathan A. Riordan, 28, of Cave City, was traveling north on Mill Street approximately nine miles northeast of Glasgow in a 1991 GMC Sonoma pickup around 7:45 p.m. Saturday when he crossed over in the center line into the southbound lane and hit a gooseneck trailer parked on the edge of the roadway, according to a Barren County Sheriff’s Office report. The trailer was attached to a 1999 Ford F550 owned by Danny L. Vincent, of Cave City, and was unoccupied at the time of the crash. Riordan’s pickup collided with the rear end of the trailer causing extensive damage to the front end of his vehicle. Riordan was transported by the Barren-Metcalfe Emergency Medical Service to T.J. Samson Community Hospital for his injuries. He was treated and released. No one else was injured. Deputy Adam Minor investigated at the scene and was assisted by Deputy J.D. Walden. Members of the Hiseville Volunteer Fire Department also responded to the crash site.
